Recently Perfect - Van Wamel has taken over the distribution of the French Calibrex sorting machines for a number of countries, including the Netherlands. Calibrex is based in Cavaillon where they focus on the construction of electronic sorters for a very large variety of round fruits by weight.
The delivery program comprises 3 models from a so-called simple electronic toll with 6 or 10 outputs to a 2-lane linear model with 12 outputs. Calibrex sorting machines can handle fruits such as apricots and plums at a maximum capacity of 15 carriers / sec. sorting without damage.
"The patented carrier construction ensures a very fruit-friendly release of the products and a low noise level. These carriers are available in two sizes and available on all models. A small model for fruits with a diameter of max. 7.5 cm and a large model that easily sorts even large products such as melons with a diameter of up to 20 cm," says Van Wamel.
Calibrex machines are especially popular with smaller to medium-sized companies, or larger companies that are looking for an additional sorting machine to sort smaller batches accurately and safely by weight.
