Expanding its growing centers

Xinfadi Market plans to add 100 supermarkets in Beijing

Beijing Xinfadi Market announced today that the total trading volume of agricultural products in the Market in 2019 reached 17.49 million tons, reaching a total value of 131.9 billion yuan.

Zhang Yuxi, Chairman of the Market, revealed that in 2020, Xinfadi will add 100 supermarkets (convenience stores) and 50 community buses in Beijing, and expand its overseas imported fruit plantation centers in Southeast Asia to 500,000 mu, in order to reduce the prices of imported fruits such as durians, bananas, and watermelons.

Zhang Yuxi said that in 2020, Xinfadi will channel energy into four areas. It will continue its effort in poverty elevation and expand its growing centers across China from the current over 3 million mu to more than 5 million mu, to ensure a more stable supply for Beijing consumers.

In addition, Xinfadi will also vigorously promote the development of outlets for agricultural products. In 2020, Xinfadi plans to set up another 100 supermarkets (convenience stores) and add 50 community buses. Beijing News reported that Xinfadi currently owns more than 300 supermarkets (convenience stores) and offers more than 100 community buses in Beijing.
