TeeJet Technologies has launched a new guidance product specifically designed for vineyard and orchard growers. The Matrix 430FV builds upon the highly successful and proven TeeJet Matrix 430 guidance product. This easy-to-use, low cost system is designed to ensure that the operator selects the correct row during day or night field operations.
Matrix 430VF can be configured for either vineyards or orchards and is ideal for various field operations like spraying, harvesting, tillage, and pruning. The user can select between different vehicle types – such as sprayer or harvester; and choose between multiple row configurations. A choice of guidance modes is also available- Straight, Next Row, and Return to Point.
Other key features include: row indication, missed row visualization, coverage mapping, area measurement, applied area alert, elapsed time counter, simple job reporting, sequential section control, and support of multiple sections.
The compact unit features a 4.3”/110mm graphical, touchscreen user interface that allows for fast setup, intuitive operation, and excellent visibility, even in bright light conditions. It contains an integral GNSS receiver that supports both GPS and GLONASS signals with an antenna that provides excellent signal reception in a wide range of geographies.
