Yex took over Fruit World's activities on 1st of January

As of 1 January 2020, Fruit World's activities have been integrated into those of its sister company, Yex. From now on, these activities will take place under the Yex name. Both of these companies are based in the Netherlands.

"Yex has been working on building up a wide range of exotic fruit and vegetables in recent years. Yex has created a stable position in the European market. This is thanks to this company's distinctive approach," says Martijn van der Graaf, Yex's Managing Director.

"The soft fruit category fits in nicely with Yex's current assortment. There is also a large overlap in clients and suppliers. This takeover means Yex will also have access to its own raspberry farm. This farm is called Kiboberry and is located in Tanzania."

This change means Fruit World and Yex clients will now not only be able to get a wide range of exotic fruit and vegetables. They can also buy soft fruit. All from a single supplier. Diverse soft fruit products are already available in Discovered packs. This is Yex's consumer brand.
