Turkish pomegranates and quinces are now increasingly offered as well

"Slightly increased demand for Turkish Satusumas in December"

The Stuttgart wholesale market is currently seeing an increasing demand for Turkish satsumas. "Demand is growing gradually and prices are quite stable. Now we hope that the quantity standing for marketing will be sufficient also in the coming weeks, said a salesman of the company Fresh Maximum LLC.

Right: Satsumas are currently at 10 Euro per colli. The prices are quite stable.

The young company found its place on the Stuttgart trading grounds some three months ago and serves a broadly diversified clientele of specialist retailers within a wide radius. The trading company relies on direct imports from Turkey, but also offers tropical fruits and imported vegetables from other southern European growing regions (predominantly Spain and Italy). "Our trademark is premium goods from Turkish cultivation of the two brands Elele and Adalya," they say.

Pomegranates and quinces
In addition to satsumas and other citrus fruits, other Turkish fruit products are currently also well received. "We also see a continuous increase in demand for Turkish pomegranates and quinces. Not only among the Turkish specialist retailers, but also among our other customers," the company concludes.
