Kiwifruit growers from the Latina province are installing anti-rain films and windproof nets to safeguard orchards and deal with climate change.
The multi-hole thermal Gea Plast anti-rain film is perfect for this. It boasts outer reinforcements and is made of PE and EVA.
"The film spreads the light, reduces temperature stress and enables ventilation thus countering humidity and condensation. This way, bacteriosis and other fungal diseases can be kept under control," refersBerardino Antonicelli from Gea Plast.
The company was established in Taranto in 1992 and specializes in the production of high-density PE films. It operates all over Italy and Mediterranean basin.
