Spanish citrus prices remain virtually unchanged

During week 48, citrus prices have remained virtually unchanged. According to sources from the Lonja de Córdoba, the market is now quiet as a result of the days of continuous rains and the inability to enter many farms.

Meanwhile, there have been some increases in the Lonja de Valencia, namely for the Navel Lane Late orange and the Hernandina mandarin, which have been sold for between 0.23 and 0.34 Euro and between 0.28-0.47 Euro per kilo, respectively. Also, the prices of oranges of the Blood subgroup, specifically of the Sanguinelli, have stood at 0.33 Euro per kilo.

As for mandarins of the hybrid subgroup, between 0.18 and 0.28 Euro are paid for the Ortanique and between 0.70 and 0.95 Euro for the Tango and Nadorcott varieties.

The prices of oranges remained unchanged in Cordoba. In the case of Navelina oranges, there are barely any stocks. The prices have stood between the 0.17-0.21 Euro of the first class Salustiana and the 0.19-0.21 Euro of the first class Navelina.
