Opening of the first Carrefour Bio store in Poland

In Warsaw, Carrefour Poland inaugurated its first organic supermarket. Poland is the fourth country integrated in the Carrefour Group to open a 100% organic store after France, Spain and Belgium.

Located in Warsaw, this first Carrefour Bio store of Poland offers 2,500 products, including some exclusive items in the network of stores at the national level. The 100% organic store in Warsaw covers 1,647 square feet of fresh products, fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, fresh bread, traditional cheese and cold meat stalls, as well as products of the Carrefour brand. This inauguration is part of the Act for Food program and aims at strengthening the organic offer in Poland to meet the high local demand.

The Carrefour Bio store in Warsaw is also the first Carrefour store in Poland where you can buy more than 50 products in bulk (cereals, coffee, dried fruits…) and 24 types of tea and spices.

There is also a “Food to Go” area where consumers can find organic soups and sandwiches prepared on the spot, grab a coffee or a freshly squeezed juice. Consumers can bring their own container and pick up their basket of fruits and vegetables ordered via the Lokalny platform.

Poland is the fourth country integrated in the Carrefour Group to open a store entirely dedicated to organic products. There are currently 29 Carrefour Bio stores in France, 4 in Spain, 1 in Belgium and 1 in Poland.
