Harvest estimate of top fruit in 2019 adjusted slightly downwards

The follow-up measurement in the context of the harvest estimate of top fruit by the NFO, GroentenFruit Huis and CBS has been completed. The final harvest of apples and pears; as previously expected, is slightly lower than the early harvest estimate that took place in July. The total estimate for apples is 273 million kilograms (early harvest estimate was, 285 million kilos) and for pears 373 million kilograms (early harvest estimate was, 379 million kilos). The Elstar harvest has been adjusted to 109 million kilograms and Conference to 283 million kilograms. Both varieties have been adjusted downwards by almost 10 million kilograms.
