Grapes from the Spanish region of Murcia have arrived in the big cities of Vietnam

The three hundred people who attended a reception at the Spanish embassy in Hanoi, including diplomatic corps and Spanish residents,  on the occasion of Hispanic Day were gifted a basket of Murcian grapes as a celebration of the fruit's arrival in that country.

The Murcian delegation, organized by the Institute of Development and APOEXPA, was formed by representatives of the companies Moyca Grapes (Josefina Mena), El Ciruelo (Cristina Gutiérrez), Frutas Torero (Antonio Caballero), Frutas Esther (Jesús Gómez) and the association APOEXPA (Joaquín Gomez).

Murcia's seedless grapes have just hit the shelves of stores and supermarkets in the country's big cities, following the arrival of the first 4 containers.

Vietnam, with a population of over 95 million inhabitants and an economic growth of over 7% per year, is emerging as an important new destination for Murcian grapes.
