Danper, the Peruvian agribusiness company, started to make fresh mango exports from Ecuador this year through Dominus, a firm specialized in exporting this fruit. In total, they have exported a total of 25 containers with a Colombian group.
The CEO and founder of the entity, Rosario Bazan, stated that Danper preferred to keep the identity of their partner anonymous. “I'd rather not say who it is. It is a Colombian group, one of the most important in Ecuador, that produces bananas, cocoa, and are important, if not the largest producers, of mango,” he said.
It should be noted that the company plans to export 30 avocado containers this year and plans to increase shipments to 100 containers next year.
