Dutch onion exports had a good week in week 36. According to the latest figures from KCB/ GroentenFruit Huis, more than 30,000 tons of onions were exported. This was only the case in week 34 of this season.
With 194,000 tons, total exports between weeks 27 and 36 are in line with last year (199,000 tons). Senegal was again the largest buyer with 8,572 tons, but Brazil (5,082 tons) and Ivory Coast (3,765 tons) also participated well.
