Monterey Mushrooms is asking shoppers to show their burger love by creating a mushroom-inspired burger and sharing a photo of it with the world.
From now through Sept. 2, Monterey Mushrooms’ Show Us Your Burger Love Photo Sweepstakes gives mushroom lovers the chance to win a grand prize that includes a portable gas grill and picnic time cooler tote kit with picnic accessories; 10 second prize barbecue tool kits; and 10 third prize Monterey Mushroom-branded blanket totes.
There is no purchase necessary to enter or win, the company said. The sweepstakes is open to the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, ages 18 and older and is void where prohibited.
“People eat more fresh mushrooms during the summer than any other time of year so we are excited to see what kind of mushroom burger recipes they create,” said Lindsey Roberts, company marketing manager.
The company is promoting the sweepstakes through food bloggers, social media and a consumer newsletter.
