"Our company works in the Gioia Tauro port and is in charge with logistics and container transport for all destinations (national and international), taking care of all formalities," explains Claudio Careri, owner of Con.Trans. & Services, a company authorized by the Gioia Tauro Customs Agency to import and export goods by road, rail and sea. 
The company owns a 5,000 sq m warehouse that is insured and featuring a burglar alarm system. In addition, it can house refrigerated containers and is equipped with high-tech solutions to facilitate loading and unloading operations.
"We can also home deliver whatever type of goods, respecting schedules and employing skilled personnel and state-of-the-art vehicles."

In addition to the many other goods, Con.Trans. & Services handles fresh produce (mainly table grapes from Puglia and kiwifruit from Calabria) and frozen products (vegetables and concentrated orange juice) destined to foreign markets such as Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman (for grapes), America and Australia (for kiwifruit).
"We handle 70% of the table grapes transiting through the Gioia Tauro port between mid-June and October. We can guarantee the cold chain during all phases."

The company also works in the Genoa port as a road haulier with long trailers (40'-45' containers, short trailers for 20' containers - both complete with a generator for refrigerated containers) equipped with satellite systems.
