A new generation of flat white nectarines allows ASF to offer a totally innovative and complete range of products. Specifically, REGAL'IN EUROPE, which will commercialize MAILLARD genetics worldwide (Agro Selections Fruits), is currently marketing a range of 12 varieties covering the season. All these varieties have the characteristics of “Maison Maillard”: semi-sweet flavor, aromatic and crunchy fruits, totally closed pistillary cavity and a complete coloration.
After the creation of the NECTARINE BLANCHE PLATE Association in France in 2018, bringing together 6 major players in the fresh sector with the aim of planting 300 ha of the range by 2023 (100 ha have already been planted), now 4 important companies of the Spanish sector will be grouped to optimize the production in Spain in compliance with the agreements already signed: ALBICE FRUITS, CINCAGROUP and FRUTARIA for conventional production and
HACIENDASBIO, which has exclusive rights for organic production.
The objective of planting by 2024 is 750 ha conventional and 150 ha organic. Currently, the actors have committed themselves to 600 ha and the rest of the objective will be made available to producers as part of a call for tender.
