Mexico conducts research to improve soursop yields

The president of the State Council of Soursop Producers, Miguel Manzanilla Ramirez, said that the National Institute of Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock Research (Inifap) in Tecoman was conducting research to develop new soursop varieties that have higher yields.

This project aims to increase the quality of the fruit and achieve better resistance to diseases or pests.

Karina de la Paz, a masters in science, is in charge of the research and her goal is to improve the fruit's performance, which would also improve its profitability.
