The production season of Jinzuan pineapples in Taiwan and Hainan already officially concluded more than a week ago. Current market supply consists of relatively weak pineapple varieties such as 'Milk', 'Watermelon', 'Shousi', and 'Sweet' pineapples." "Pineapples are a dominant seasonal fruit in the Chinese market every year from February until May. The main reason behind their advantage is that the flavor of pineapples is at its height during this period. Another reason is the relative absence of competition with other fruits whose harvest season takes place slightly later. Their supply volume is relatively small. This is the case, for example, for lychee, Aiwen mangoes, and domestic fragrant grapes."
