US will delay additional tariffs on some Chinese products until June 15th, 2019

The office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) shared that a federal announcement is forthcoming in which the USTR will delay additional tariffs on some Chinese import products until June 15th, 2019. After that date, the tariff on the affected products will increase from 10% to 25%.

Chinese products exported to the US before May 10th will still fall under the old 10% tariff regulation. The tariff increase was originally planned for implementation on June 1st, but in the end the USTR decided to delay the implementation until June 15th.
