The Philippines joins Beijing Cultural Festival with three star products

The 14th session of the Beijing Cultural Exposition opened in Beijing on May 29th, 2019, and successfully concluded on the following June 1st. There were 17 exhibition areas. The ambassador of the Philippines stationed in China was invited to attend the exposition. The envoy from the Philippines showcased several fruits under the umbrella of Dole, such as sweet bananas, golden pineapples, and non-GMO papayas. These three star products of the Dole family are all produced in the Philippines. The entire supply chain from farm to the hands of Chinese consumers is refrigerated.

Why are these three star products so popular in China?

Dole sweet bananas
Dole sweet bananas are produced at an elevation of 500 meters and higher. The growth period is as long as 12 months. The difference between temperatures at night and during the day is big in these production areas. Sunshine is abundant. All of these factors add to the soft, glutinous, sweetness of Dole sweet bananas.

Dole golden pineapples
Dole golden pineapples come from Dole plantations at the foot of a volcano. The plantation has Rainforest Alliance Certification. The pineapples pass through a strict selection process. Even though the outside is still green, when cut open, the inside reveals golden fruit flesh. The flavor is sweet and fragrant. The smell is rich.

Dole non-GMO papayas
Dole non-GMO papayas are relatively small. The fruit peel is smooth. The papaya is ripe when the fruit flesh is the color of saffron. The flavor is sweet and fragrant. Proper plantation and harvest management allows for one harvest per tree for every two years. This is to guarantee the standards of fruit shape and product quality.
