Following a visit to the KRONEN booth at the Fruit Logistica 2018, the exchange between VerdeAgua, producer of fresh-cut salads from Uruguay, and the KRONEN sales team intensified with regard to the salad-processing machines offered by KRONEN.
Subsequently, Heiko Schönbroich (Sales Manager Germany South at KRONEN) and Juan Lindmayer (Export Division Manager for Latin America & Caribbean at KRONEN) organized a plant tour for the VerdeAgua team at the KRONEN-Kunden légumes Rapp in Germany, where both manufacturers had the opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences. The visit was a source of inspiration for VerdeAgua, a Salanova® producer based in Montevideo, Uruguay, on how to incorporate professional lettuce processing into their operations.

Then VerdeAgua decided to buy a washing and drying line consisting of a cleaning table, a conveyor belt, a washing machine of the type GEWA 3800V ECO with insect discharge, a basket carousel and a salad spinner of the latest generation; KS-100 PLUS.
Sebastian Figueron, Diego Giay and all VerdeAgua employees are very pleased with the newly installed processing line and look forward to continuing their market penetration in supermarkets and gourmet kitchens with fresh, washed salad products.
