We immediately recognized the needed to focus on the premium end of the market. Rosaria oranges from Sicily are one of the leading products in Italy and will be initially distributed via Tmall's Mr Fresh, one of the group's online marketplaces reaching 637 million active Chinese consumers, and via Freshippo, a "New Retail" supermarket chain part of Alibaba.
"We have worked hard on this and have chosen only the best citrus fruit and the best logistic solutions. We have carried out excellent work, starting with cold treatment equipment and ending with all the procedures we were not used to before gaining access to China."
