Farm Trans takes over all transport activities from Bart’s Logistics.

Potato trader and French fries producer ‘Bart’s Potato Company’ will transfer all road transport related activities over to Farm Trans this April. By outsourcing their transport, BPC can put their full focus on growth in the potato producing process.

It is no coincidence that the two family businesses are joining forces. With service as the key to success, collaboration like this is obvious. Both companies have agricultural roots, many years of experience within the sector and strive for innovation without harming authenticity.

In the past, BPC arranged its own transport through Bart’s Logistics. With the expansion of services, including potato processing, they have chosen to transfer the transport to a full service transport company.

As a transport specialist, Farm Trans offers a complete package for bulk and conditioned logistics services, so that BPC will be completely relieved of both the incoming as well as the outgoing transport.

Farm Trans, who has an extensive range of services in Europe, is already strongly represented in the Benelux, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Eastern Europe. The addition of these activities, employees and equipment will once again increase their coverage ratio. With the acquisition, Farm Trans will increase their transport volume by more than 300,000 tonnes on an annual basis.

With the establishment of a company in Belgium, Farm Trans strengthens its position as a full service transport company. It’s a milestone that not only benefits the current partners but also the rest of the market.
