Amazon Fresh delivers fresh food in Berlin, Potsdam, Hamburg and Munich. Almost two years ago, the service was launched. In Germany, however, it is still available in only three cities. Amazon's Germany boss Ralf Kleber is nevertheless optimistic and wants to expand Amazon Fresh, as he told the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in an interview.
Great potential
Admittedly, Kleber acknowledged that the online share of the entire grocery trade is low - but that also applies to other categories of goods. "That's the beauty of online trading: there's a lot of potential."
