The National Interest Market of Grenoble relies on organic and local products

The National Interest Market of Grenoble-Alpes MĂ©tropole is getting more diverse and expanding its wholesale offer. Recently, it has welcomed a producer of organic citrus fruits from Sicily and a wholesaler of organic and local products. At the beginning of January, the Box Fermier collective, composed of 15 local producers, also entered the 161,460 square feet structure.

In order to offer more products from other departments, the wholesaler of organic and local products is planning to expand its space, over an area of almost 5,382 square feet. As for the producer of organic citrus fruits from Sicily, he is considering a partnership with a wholesaler from the market in Corbas, supplied among others by organic producers from the Rhone Valley.

Bernard Colonel-Bertrand, director of the National Interest Market of Grenoble, indicated that this diversification responds to the customers’ increasing demand for organic and local products.
