For its 86th edition, from February 16th to March 3rd, the famous Lemon Festival of Menton will feature fantastic worlds. The 240,000 expected visitors will discover what can be done with citrus fruits by exploring fantastic universes from the literature and cinema. For the occasion, dozens of monumental sculptures, made from oranges and lemons and representing dragons, centaurs, elves, werewolves and magicians, will populate the streets and gardens of Menton.
The Biovès gardens will metamorphose into a wonderland with references to fairytales and heroic fantasy films. At nighttime, dreamlike lights will illuminate the Jardins de Lumières with many other animations.
During the famous parade, spectators will be able to admire floats and monumental structures decorated exclusively with oranges and lemons. Worthy of the biggest carnivals, the Corsi are parades of 10 floats, animated by fanfares and acrobats.
