Artevos presents itself for the first time at the Fruit Logistica

Aromatic and robust fruits for production and trade

For the first time, Artevos is exhibiting at Fruit Logistica, where it is a reliable partner for the production and trading of aromatic and robust fruit varieties. Around 220 nurseries produce the wide range of fruit trees for commercial fruit growing throughout Europe; These can be used both in conventional producing plants and in organic farms. Good taste has first place in the Artevossorten selection, evident by newly introduced varieties like:

Redcurrant, Haronia
The bright red 'Red Lake' seedling is far superior to its parent variety - with larger berries and longer grapes and with very good fruit quality, which remains fine after transport and storage. They are also strong plants, whose foliage protects the berries from sunburn. And the icing on the cake, there is the exceptionally mild aroma without the typical acidity of blackcurrants.

Plum‚ Jofela
Originating from a cross between the only species resistant to Plum Pox Virus, the 'Jojo' variety and the excellent 'Felsina' variety, 'Jofela' unites the best qualities of these two parent varieties. The healthy tree provides excellent, particularly aromatic fruits, which can be harvested over a very long harvest period and which are ideal for fresh consumption as well as for baking.

Apple‚ Mariella
This Swiss-bred apple has the best taste from January onwards. Thanks to its excellent shelf life it can be stored in simple cold storages, without any measures to extend the storage period into the summer. Consumers particularly appreciate its firmness and crunchiness, combined with its fine sourness.

Variety tasting
Artevos will present a selection of apple varieties at their stand. Visitors will not only be able to look at and touch; they can taste and compare the apples themselves.

We look forward to your visit to ARTEVOS at the Fruit Logistica in Berlin from 6 to 8 February 2019 in hall 21, booth A-01.
