Moxxy, a marketing agency in the agriculture and fresh food industries, has hired Seanie Aceves as account coordinator.
The company says that Aceves brings a diverse and valuable skill set to the Moxxy team, including expertise in marketing, project management, web design, sales and customer service.
"Seanie impressed me from the start," said Karen Nardozza, president and CEO of Moxxy. "Though we weren’t recruiting at the time, she contacted me nonetheless and skilfully pitched herself, describing her background in marketing and web development, and explaining her sincere desire to work at Moxxy in part due to our unique culture and strong reputation. Seanie has lived up to her spiel, adding value immediately from her positive, team-focused attitude to her ability to handle anything that comes her way with proficiency and a smile."
Aceves joined Moxxy after running her own small marketing company providing WordPress web development and content management. She previously worked at the Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau as marketing coordinator handling print, web, email and digital campaigns. Prior, she worked in sales, marketing and customer service for Keller Estate and Francis Ford Coppola wineries.
"I enjoy so many aspects of marketing—it’s what led me to start my own company," said Aceves. "After running my business for over a year, I realized that I wanted to be part of a strong team where I could make the most of my skill set. Moxxy is definitely that team! I look forward to applying everything I’ve learned to help Moxxy’s clients flourish."
Currently, Aceves works on Moxxy’s account teams for Berry People, Braga Fresh, PhycoTerra, I Love Produce, Joullian Vineyards, Peterson Farms, Riverview Farms and others.
Aceves is a Long Beach, California native. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sonoma State University.
