Carrefour opens its first laboratory store in Paris

The Carrefour store chain is experimenting with a new concept in the Clichy district in Paris. Referred to as the "Halle de Clichy", this 371 m² convenience store offers a wide range of traditional fresh products, digital services and a restaurant area.

As a showcase for food transition, the store offers 1,200 fresh product references, which is a quarter of 100% organic and Carrefour Quality Line, with fruits and vegetables in bulk, a grocery booth or a distributor of dried fruits in bulk. Presented as a market hall, there is a fish market, a butcher and a dairy section.

To overcome the limitation of supply, which is half the size of a conventional Carrefour City, the Halle de Clichy is equipped with a pedestrian Drive-through and provides online access to more than 15,000 references at the price of hypermarkets with free delivery.

Finally, the store includes a dedicated dining area with an 18-seat dining room.
