Linhai is known as the hometown of seedless mandarins. Harvest season recently began in the 12 thousand hectares of mandarin orchards in Linhai. The production volume per hectare increased by around 20%-30% as a result of excellent weather conditions this year. The average production per 0.07 hectare exceeded 2 thousand kg. The average purchase price is 4-5 yuan [0.58-0.72 USD] per 0.5 kg, which is also better than last year.
