Customs at Urumqi airport recently reported that 1 ton of Uzbekistan cherries entered the Urumqi fruit market through Urumqi International Airport. This is the first import of Uzbeki cherries. Previously cherries were mainly imported from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbekistan is the fifth-largest cherry producer in the world. The Uzbekistan environment is perfectly suited for cherry production, and the Uzbekistan cherries have a sweet and fragrant flavor. The price of imported Uzbekistan cherries is reasonable between 100 yuan and 110 yuan [15.10-16.61 USD] per kg. Consumers in Xinjiang showed great interest in the Uzbekistan cherries.
