Europe: La Trentina at Fruit Attraction for the first time

"The fist data show a 10% increase in production with respect to the previous season, quite the opposite from the 5% drop experienced all over Europe. This growth is most probably due to the new company asset, as in August all members entrusted us with all processing operations and we also have a new member operating on 100 hectares," explains Simone Pilati (in the photo), general manager of Le Trentina.

"In the future, we will continue to work on the diversification of our distribution channels - 50% of the produce will be destined to the Italian market, whereas the remaining half will go to Spain, North Africa and the Middle East."

La Trentina will also take part in Fruit Attraction (Madrid, 28th-30th October) for the first time. "We went there as visitors in the past but we want to take this opportunity to meet our old as well as some new partners. Spain is among the main European destinations for our business and the fair will be the perfect place to define a good part of our business strategy."

The consortium (Hall 10 - Stand 10D06) will present its apple range (Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Gala, Granny Smith and Fuji) as well as its various packaging options.

General manager Simone Pilati and sales manager Andra Valerio will attend to welcome all visitors.
