Germany imported a record amount of fresh fruit last year, reports the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) on its website. This broke the previous record from 2006. Compared to the year 2012 the import of fresh fruit increased by 7.5% or 367,000 tonnes.
