The 8th edition of the Pentawards took place on the 9th of October in Tokyo. Special Fruit's design bureau, Quatre Mains, managed to win a silver award in the category Food / Fruit and Vegetables with the BestChoice sugar snap bag.
Pentawards is the only world level competition where the best packaging is crowned. Quatre Mains' mission was in the value that BestChoice hopes to present in the packaging. The 12 headed jury like the 'fresh off the market' concept that showed the quality and use of the fresh product in a handy packaging.
"Receiving this prestigious prize in Tokyo is the ultimate confirmation for us that the renewed BestChoice concept is good. The design works as the ideal basis in which our quality and divers assortment finds shelter," according to Patrick Maes, managing director of Special Fruit.
