Stockton Israel, a leader in plant extract based crop protection innovation, has received For Life - Social Responsibility Certification Programme from – IMOSwiss AG, Switzerland.
The certification confirms that Stockton’s employees enjoy decent and safe working conditions covering all major aspects of work, from workers’ rights to better employment conditions.
The For Life Certification reviewed and approved Stockton’s overall environmental performance, as well as the company’s commitment to act as a responsible employer and to promote workplace sustainability policy, along with fair procedures towards the environment.
Ziv Tirosh, CEO of Stockton says that all large companies are interested in sustainability positioning, not only as "green" companies - an area where Stockton is one of the leaders in green pesticides - but also in caring for society, ecology and health. "This certification has economic value, but beyond that, I believe that this development also has great internal value for the company itself by making social awareness a part of Stockton’s DNA," said Tirosh. “Receiving certification is the result of a process which we started a few months ago together with the Swiss certification body IMOSwiss AG; which grants certificates after a comprehensive examination process; and we are delighted that Stockton is the first Israeli company in the area of crop protection to receive this certification, joining the first line of international companies, leaders in the field of chemicals, alongside global giants.
