Spain: Guy Dixon, of citrus group Martinavarro, passes away

Guy Dixon, commercial director of the citrus empire Martinavarro, S.L., has passed away at the age of 44 as a result of an accident in the town of Quart de les Valls, where he resided. The British executive, who started his professional career at great distribution chains like Marks & Spencer and Tesco UK, amongst others, had been the company's commercial director for a whole decade and was largely responsible for the group's expansion with production centres in Almassora, Sollada, Sueca, Xeraco and Huelva.

Dixon introduced an original model for business integration and distribution to its subsidiaries. He was married with three children.
