The German BayWa indicates that it is possible that they may take over a fruit company in the coming months. The company has grown through takeovers over the last few years and top man Klaus Jozef Lutz indicated in an interview with the Frankfurter Allegemeine that they plan to take over an international fruit trader in the coming months. Recent takeovers of, among others, Turners & Growers caused an increase in company results. CEO Lutz does not want to announce any details until the takeover is definite. He believes further takeovers before 2015 are unlikely.
