Roland Peerenboom new general manager KWS potato
Roland Peerenboom studied at the Nyenrode Business University and received his Master's degree in International Business at an American university. He started his career in 1982 at Shell International in financial and commercial functions. In 1987 he left to work for Nutricia, a company specializing in food, and was active in various management positions, mainly outside the Netherlands. His main task was to build new professional organizations from recently established companies or acquired companies in various countries.
In 1999, Roland stepped into the world of seeds to at start Enza Seeds, first as commercial director and later as interim general manager. During this period Enza Seeds expanded rapidly with the establishment of many new subsidiaries and several strategic purchases worldwide and became one of the leading seed breeding companies for vegetable varieties in the world. During this period, Roland gained valuable insights into the seed business and was very involved in transforming the company into a global player.
