July 2021: 3,727 tons of fruits and vegetables imported by Libya from Tunisia

Tunisian exports of fruits and vegetables to Libya have went up through the Ras Ajdair border post, with an 23% year-on-year increase in July. Tunisian exports to Libya reached 3,727 tons. According to the Observatory for Tunisian Farmers, the increase is due to the export of water melons to Libya by 212%: 2,370 tons.

Libyaobserver.ly reports how, in the same month, the amount of exported grapes decreased by 72% to reach 48 tons, tomatoes by 63%: 45 tons and almond by 59% to reach 98 tons.
