Maraldi Sementi invites all industry professionals to the annual Fresh-Cut Field Days. The event will take place on 4 and 5 December at OP Italian Leaf's farm in Pontecagnano, Campania, Italy. "Foreign operators are encouraged to attend on 2 and 3 December," says Andrea Maraldi about the traditional week dedicated to varietal innovation. Visitors will be able to view a wide range of lettuce, rocket, spinach, lamb's lettuce, and chard in eleven polytunnels, the result of constant genetic improvement work.

The company is known for its focus on mowing products and its research activities aimed at introgressing genetic resistance to the primary pathogens. It will present its latest innovations. Specifically, it will present varieties with complete resistance to downy mildew and Fusarium affecting rocket and lettuce, as well as numerous novelties from the Maraldi research center's spinach breeding program in Denmark. There will also be varieties of chard and lamb's lettuce with high agronomic and technological value.
This event provides an important opportunity for Italian and foreign sector operators to discuss with Maraldi experts. Andrea Maraldi says, "It's a showcase where you can observe, take notes on, and discuss the evolution of research and future trends in the fresh-cut sector."
Andrea concludes, "At Maraldi Sementi, we reaffirm our commitment to industry professionals, and we look forward to seeing you there in large numbers."
