Avocado movement from Mexico crossings through Texas is expected to remain about the same as harvest of new crop was curtailed by rain and is not ready to export as crop progress is slow in reaching dry matter content. Old crop supplies cleaned quickly, creating a shortage in supplies and increased prices. Trading organic 60-70s are very active at lower prices, others are very active. Prices of organic 60-70s are lower, others are higher. Cartons 2 layers Hass 32-48s are mostly 52.25-54.25, 60s are mostly 52.25-54.25, 70s are mostly 44.25-46.25, and 84s are mostly 35.25-37.25; organic 48s are mostly 64.25-66.25, 60s are mostly 62.25-64.25, and 70s are mostly 54.25-56.25. Extra services are included. There continues to be a wide range in price.

Movement from South District California is expected to remain about the same. Trading organic 48-60s and conventional 84s are very active at lower prices, others are very active. Prices of organic 48-60s and conventional 84s are lower, conventional 60-70s are higher, others are generally unchanged.

Cucumber movement from Mexico crossings through Otay Mesa, California is expected to remain about the same. Trading early was slow, late is moderate. Prices are slightly lower. 1 1/9-bushel cartons medium are mostly 11.00-13.00, large are mostly 10.00-11.00, fair quality are mostly 8.00-10.00, ordinary quality are mostly 6.00-7.00. Cartons 36s are mostly 6.00-8.00. Quality is variable.
