Monthly update on citrus fruits imports

Cumulated imports of fresh oranges into the EU amounted to 543,000 tonnes in May of this year

In May of this year, cumulated imports of fresh oranges into the EU amounted to 543,000 tonnes, the majority of which (449,000 tonnes) came from Egypt.

Monthly orange imports for that month came in at 82,490 tonnes, with Egypt contributing 81,215 tonnes.
