France: Florette launches fresh herbs for tea

Florette, the brand from the Agrial cooperative, is launching their fresh herbs for herbal teas this month. Almost one in two people in France drink herbal tea, mainly from dried herbs. Florette promises their clients a more intense flavour with their fresh herbs.

Florette’s herbal tea packets each contain 20g of herbs with whole leaves and are sold in the fresh aisle of supermarkets. Two flavours are on offer (mint-lemon balm and mint, thym and lemon) and 4 to 5 cups of tea can be made with each one. Like with their existing range of fresh herbs, the packaging is resealable. The leaves have already been washed and just need to be placed in a teapot with boiling water for 5 to 8 minutes. Per pack: €2.50!
