Viewing day October 29

Online auction fruit and veg processing machines

Thursday, October 29, is the viewing day for the online auction of machines for fruit, vegetable and meat processing, due to the discontinued operations of Deli-Pack in Boxtel. This auction includes vegetable washers, packaging machines, peelers, transport belts, filing machines, labelling machines and many others. The auction in Boxtel is just one of the many auctions organized by Industrial Auctions.

Industrial Auctions specializes in online auctions for the entire food industry. "Through our specialization, we are able to inform and advise interested parties well," says marketing manager John van Berlo. Online auctions have gained a lot of popularity in recent years, with more and more companies seeing the benefits of bidding online on machines for their company. The machines can already be picked up a week after the auction, and deployed in the production process immediately, while with new machines a longer delivery has to be reckoned with.

In addition, purchasing a used machine, rather than a new one, can save a lot in terms of costs. The lack of a warranty is often seen as inhibiting when it comes to buying at auction. Industrial Auctions wants to lower this risk by extensively describing machines, taking good pictures of the machines and organizing viewing days. Interested parties can use the viewing days to turn the machine inside out, so that they know exactly what they can bid on.

When the auction is drawing to a close, interested parties from around the world go to the website www.industrial-auctions.com to experience the end of the auction. "The final day is usually the day on which it happens. Many bids are placed in the final minutes before the auction closes, phone calls from around the world with last minute questions, and questions about the process in general are common," says John van Berlo.

After the auction, collection days are organized, with Industrial Auctions ensuring that what has been won is actually collected. While loading the machines, Industrial Auctions staff is present to assist with a forklift and manpower. The service goes further by assisting companies that have little to no experience disassembling, loading and transporting machines.

"We have now delivered quite a lot of used production machines to companies in the entire food industry. We are a young online auction house, known for our good service, and we want to keep it that way."
