Florette launches tomato caviar
Originally, in 1983, the company Florette was family run, before joining the AGRIAL group in 1985. Two years later they were launched on the market. Florette specialises in salad and fresh produce in sachets.
In the 1990’s the company opened 2 new production sites and in 2001 they bought Spanish fresh produce leader, Vega Mayor. Today, Florette have 16 manufacturing and packaging sites in 5 different countries.
Florette’s tomato caviar is part of their new range of spreadable products. Other products in the range include black olive tapenade, aubergine caviar, tzatziki, houmous and guacamole.
The caviar is made of fresh tomatoes and can be enjoyed with drinks. It is packaged in 175g pots available in large to medium retail stores with a €2.90 RRP.
Florette has over 3,500 employees and markets almost 140 thousand tons of finished products. In 2013 they had a turnover of about €500 million.
