Netherlands: Fortuna Frutos wins waterpolo company tournament

Last Saturday, the 1st of September, in Barendrecht, the 14th edition of the Gerard van de Burg company tournament was finished at the water polo association ZPB H&L Productions. This year the fruit and vegetable sector was once again well represented with e.g. Hoofdman Roodzant, Gebr Duijvestijn, Opticool, H&L Productions and Fortuna Frutos.

In the Inge de Bruin Sportfondsenbad fun and sporty competitions were held throughout the afternoon, in between there was space for some networking and after all that effort there was a barbecue and a party.

Best player: Ronald Duijvestijn of Gebr. Duijvestijn

Ronald Duivestijn of Gebr Duijvestijn was the best player in the tournament, partially due to making 14 hits. The best keeper this year was Patrick Gerritsen of Cryotrans, Hoofdman Roodzant came second under guidance from captain Lennart van de Heuvel and Fortuna Frutos was the winner of the tournament.
