Airport Frankfurt: node for the fruit and vegetable trade
Most fruit and vegetables arrives by land or sea in Germany. But for especially expensive and fragile goods air freight is unmissable. Frankfurt airport is an important hub. For the first time the 'Deutsche Fruchthandelsverband eV (DFHV) and "Perishable Center Frankfurt" (PCF) are together in this place to give information about the role of the airport in the import and export of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Experts of PCF, LH Cargo, DHL, Nagel Airfreight and the checkpoint provide information on topics such as logistics, border control, quality assurance and quality control. The meeting will conclude with a tour of the Perishable Center Frankfurt.
