"Without digital publicity we would have less sales"

Publicity through social media has become important for certain grocery shops. Like in the case of Henk en Jacqueline Huver of Huver grocery shops. For one and a half years they have been active on Twitter and are very enthusiastic about the medium.

Besides the messages on Twitter, they send a newsletter to the loyal customers. In these newsletters they put reviews, product information or more personal information about their shop.

Without publicity in the social media, sales would drop by 4 to 8%. Also a website is quintessential. And they put advertisements in the newspaper, but this will possibly be no longer necessary.
