Edeka Minden-Hannover turnover of almost 7 billion Euro in 2011

The German retailer Edeka Minden-Hannover made a turnover of 6.923 billion Euro last year. This means the turnover increased by 3.7% compared to 2010, the company recently reported.

Mark Rosenkranz, spokesperson of the direction of Edeka Minden-Hannover, said he's satisfied with the figures. The sales area increased by around 60,000 square meters last year. This means Edeka Minden-Hannover is once again the most expansive company within the branch in this area of Germany. The company invested 42 million Euro in modernising the supermarkets in 2011. In first four months of 2012 the turnover increase continued by 4.4%.
