Italy: Eco-friendly package for Bonduelle salads
The assortment includes 7 different kind of salads in order to meet the preference of consumers and give them the chance to change recipe everyday.
They are:
• Agita&Gusta walnuts and PGI aromatic vinegar of Modena: a mix of cherry tomatoes, carrots, red chicory, chicory, crinkly lettuce with walnuts and PGI aromatic vinegar of Modena;
• Agita&Gusta corn and black olives: a mix of carrots, peppers, red chicory, chicory, crinkly lettuce with corn and black olives;
• Agita&Gusta Pinzimonio: a mix of peppers, celery, fennels, radish and carrots with a dip made with olive oil, pepper and salt;
• Agita&Gusta Grain: recipe based on barley and emmer with lettuce and vegetables;
• Agita&Gusta ad hoc 'rich in fibre': a mix of lettuce with small pieces of fruit, legumes and grain;
• Agita&Gusta ad hoc 'rich in Omega 3': a mix of lettuces with walnuts, grapes and soybean sprouts;
• Agita&Gusta ad hoc 'rich in β-Carotene': a mix of vegetables and lettuce with dried apricots and carrot concentrate.
Introduced on the market in 2011, the eco-friendly package guarantees the same convenience and singularity distinguishing Agita&Gusta salads, ready in four easy steps: remove fork and napkin from the back, press the center of the bottom of the bowl to release the pre-measured dressing, mix well by shaking the bowl and then remove the top film.
Thanks to the changes introduced in packaging production process, this assortment meets also the growing desire of consumer to make more sustainable choices: the new package of Agita&Gusta is in fact made with lower plastic, that is a 40% reduction of carbon dioxide emissions compared to the previous version. In general, the eco-friendly aspect of package represents the third reason of purchase by consumers, after product quality and price.
