Germany: Leek price rises to highest level

The prices for leek have clearly increased compared to last week, reports the German Duitse Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI). German wholesalers sold leek at the end of week 9 for around 120 Euro per 100 kg. Halfway through week 10 the price had increased to 150 Euro per 100 kg. This is probably the maximum price. At Dutch auction the prices from week 10 are starting to drop.

In Belgium there are less changes. In the German food shops leek is barely on offer.
